Yo! Folks!
The 50/50 Tour had to be the best party that Barbara and I have ever attended and that includes the great parties in the 60’s that I almost remember.
How can you top a weekend of great food, great music and wonderful friends?
It is really a tribute to Page and Agnes that folks fly in from all over the globe to help celebrate the dual fifties. You folks are the greatest!
The only downside is I tried to copy some of the licks I heard on Saturday night… the doctor said that he didn’t think it was possible for a guitar player to braid the fingers of the left hand.
Page and Agnes… happy fiftieth and many, many more.

Dear Agnes and Page,
Paws down, that must have been some party! I'm sorry I couldn't attend in person, but your effort to include me vicariously with victuals has been great. I cannot tell you how much I've enjoyed eating all these leftovers (talk about a recovery period!).
Let me know whenever you'll host another party and I'll be happy to join the clean up crew.
Sincerely,
Mongo,
The (Portable) Berner Disposal Unit

Dear Agnes and Page,
What a do!!! The White House needs you to help put more fun into their dour affairs. The Hite Protocol: "Be secure knowing you'll have a heck of a good time! Our bashes is smashes!"
Dan and I had a SUPER time -- from dancing to Tommy Castro at the Meadows in Wolf Trap to kickin' our heels up to the Junkyard Saints, Mizz James, Mizz Wilson, and the Marcia Ball Band at the State Theater. And the after party -- whew! And a privilege to escort Misses T. and D. to the Jackie exhibit on Sunday. I'm definitely going to enjoy that cruise!
Definitely, you should be in the Good Time biz. Next year? Back by popular demand, you guys. Your duty is clear!!! Let us know when and where. Page, do I see a festival in your strategic future???
Thanks a billion!

Lee and Agnes,
I know this is my second posting, but I just wanted to let you both know what a great time Gayle and I had at your 50th BIRTHDAY PARTY... All Lee asked is that we meet and make some new friends and we did just that. A great mix of wonderful people. Thanks for inviting us, and remember us when other events come up. I think it's great that we can still get together after all of these years. We have certainly been through and seen a lot during this lifetime. I still remember WestSide story.. Well that's another story for another trip...
I hope the next time we can have instruments to play. I know we are all rusty, but we still have a lot of heart...
Thanks for a great time...

Are you guys the coolest or what? I have been a part of lots of tours and been to some great parties, but the 50/50 Tour was by far the coolest party, the funnest time, and the best run tour I have ever experienced (not to mention the great music...and food....and the really nice people I met....). Thank you for letting me be a part of your birthday celebration. Many happy returns of the day!

We had a wonderful time at your 50-50 birthday party. Hard to say what we enjoyed most: the music was great, the luncheon and hospitality suite food
was fantastic, and it was great to see old friends and make some new ones. Let's do this again next year, but of course on a self-pay basis! Thanks again.

In the words of the immortal, "Go Big or Go Home" – you definitely went BIG, hopefully you’ve made it home by now. Thanks again, xoxo

Page has been teaching me how to be cool since I was knee high to a high hat, now he and Agnes have taught me how to throw a really great birthday party. You're great as a couple, thanks for always inviting the kid brother along.

Well, y'all did it again. Charie and I can't remember when we've had a better time (in public). We enjoyed the food, the friends (old & new), & the music. Most of all we appreciate the hours and hours of hard work it took to put together the "Party of the Year". Thanks for the great memories, and let's do it again soon.

Page and Agnes,
Best wishes for a great day Saturday and a wonderful 50th birthday. I've forgotten a hellua lot in the last 50 years, but I'll never forget the good times at Clemson and the wild-and-crazy trip to Columbia. (Well, I remember that we actually made the trip; okay, okay, so I don't remember much else about it! But I know we had fun.)
All the best,
t.p.
